Star Music offers several options when it comes to purchasing an instrument for your beginner student. Below is an overview of what each rental program offers.

Monthly Rent To Own

 

  • 100% of your monthly payments go toward the purchase price of the instrument.

 

  • We never charge interest or service fees.

 

  • The price you are quoted is the price you pay for the entire contracted term.

 

  • No obligation to buy! Once the instrument is returned to one of our two locations, your payments stop.

 

  • Optional protection plans are available to cover your instrument in the event of theft/fire damage and maintenance or repair.

Step-Up! Program

Star Music also offers a Step-Up option for all of our Rent to Own customers. 

Strings

  • 100% of your monthly payments are applied toward the purchase price of a step-up or professional instrument.

 

  • 50% of you monthly payments over the entire Rent to Own term are applied toward the balance of a newer Rent to Own instrument.

Winds

  • 100% of your first 12 monthly payments are applied towards the purchase of a new step-up or professional instrument.

Early Purchase Price/Cash Option

 

  • Star Music offers a highly discounted price within the first 90 days of all Rent to Own contracts.

 

  • Don't want to rent? We also extend our discounted cash price to customers who prefer to purchase outright.

 

  • Rest assured! If you decide to purchase the instrument and then your child quits, we do offer a buy-back guarantee.

 

  • Please call our store for more information concerning our buy-back guarantee.

 

  • Straight Rentals are offered for fractional sized string instruments.

 

  • 1/2" or smaller string instruments only.
